The Irishman (2019)

Crazy Rich Asians (2018)

Based on a 2013 novel of the same name, this 2018 romantic comedy flick became a sensation shortly after it was released. Constance Wu stars as Rachel, an unwitting professor who discovers on accompanying her boyfriend to Singapore that he belongs to the wealthiest family in the country. The film was praised for featuring a principally Asian cast and has grossed over 230 million USD at the box office.

Delroy Lindo delivers a stunning performance as the lead in a movie packed with action, humor, and adventure. The film tells the story of four soldiers who return to Vietnam to retrieve the body of their squad leader and some gold. Da 5 Bloods was met with wide acclaim, with Terence Blanchard’s majestic score earning an Academy award nomination.
