It is a combination of a football game
and a brothel."

Scene-Stealing Casino Moments

Do you have a favorite casino movie? Well, we probably all have one. With a huge number of casino movies having been made and no doubt more in the future, it’s not hard to play a favorite. It’s not surprising why casinos are used as a backgrounds for many blockbuster movies. The setting is high with adrenalin and has all the chills and thrills that you would need to set up nice action scenes.

Among all of the casino gambling films ever made, there is one standout, “Casino.” The 1995 film by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Sharon Stone is a must-watch for all casino fans and movie fans alike. The story is about a Jewish-American sports handicapper called in by the Mafia to oversee the operations of a top Vegas casino, which he was able to grow with his impressive skills at calling the shots.

“Casino” is definitely a beautiful movie to watch. It was delightfully made, with many memorable scenes. Here are two of the most unforgettable cuts you’ll end up watching over and over again.

photo Scene #1: This is a funny scene between Pesci and De Niro. De Niro has kicked one guy out of the casino hall because he was being disrespectful at the poker table. During the discussion between De Niro and Pesci about the incident, Pesci utters one of the classic lines of the whole film: “I mean he’s already very sorry.” This pretty much sums up the reasons “Casino” is something you should not miss. It’s a great movie, full of action – and while it’s about a dark part of old Vegas, it also has light, funny moments – such as this popular scene. Watch the memorable scene here.

Scene #2: This is another light scene from “Casino.” This one features the charming Stone disrupting the action at a gambling table while De Niro watches – he can’t take his eyes off her. You can’t discount the fact that Stone was hot and that De Niro’s character was totally smitten. You can see it by the look in each other’s eyes. They never lift their looks towards each other and yet it feels like the world stops revolving. Get smitten yourself by watching this scene here.
