by Ilan Ziv

Street Date: 05/01/18

Icarus Films is excited to bring Capitalism to home video DVD, Amazon Instant Video and VHX on 05/01/18.

May 2018 will see the 10th anniversary of the world’s worst financial collapse since the Great Depression, the 50th anniversary of the May ’68 protests in France, and, as if that wasn’t enough, May 2nd will be Karl Marx’s 200th birthday.

So it is fitting that to mark these historical events, Icarus Films announces the VOD and home video DVD release of Ilan Ziv’s international hit, Capitalism. This six-part documentary series will be available on 05/01/18.

“Elegant and intelligent.” –Video Librarian

Capitalism is an ambitious and accessible documentary series that looks at the history of the ideas and social forces that have shaped our capitalist world. Blending interviews with some of the world’s great historians, economists, anthropologists and social critics with on-the-ground footage shot in 22 countries, Capitalism questions the myth of the unfettered free market, explores the nature of debt and commodities and retraces some of the great economic debates of the last 200 years.
