‘Maxxie LaWow: Drag Super-Shero’ Saves the Day on Digital, VOD June 17

Breaking Glass Pictures proudly announces the upcoming release of Maxxie LaWow: Drag Super-Shero, a high-energy animated LGBTQ+ comedy adventure directed and produced by Anthony Hand. The film will debut digitally in the US and Canada on June 17, 2025 — just in time to bring even more fabulousness to Pride Month.
Maxxie LaWow: Drag Super-Shero follows shy barista Simon, who stumbles upon a magical pink wig that transforms him into the fierce drag super-shero Maxxie LaWow. When the wicked Dyna Bolical begins kidnapping drag queens for their youth-preserving tears, Maxxie teams up with best friend Jae for a daring rescue mission. The story crescendos in a dazzling, high-flying lip sync battle where self-acceptance and fabulous heroism collide.
