Weekly Top Streaming Movie Charts: Week Ending Nov. 16
Guillermo del Toro’s semi-faithful adapatation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein entered the Top 10 streaming movie chart this week at No. 2 (on Netflix); also new to the chart was Tyler Perry’s holiday drama Finding about a talented but overlooked NYC designer who finds unexpected love, transforming her life and career path after being stranded in Colorado after a devastating holiday revelation (Amazon Prime Video). Topping the movie streaming chart was Celine Song’s rom-com Materialists, about an ambitious young New York City matchmaker who finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex, debuting on HBO Max.

Those lists – courtesy of FlixPatrol (https://flixpatrol.com/), which provides daily updated VOD charts for 956 streaming platforms in 167 countries worldwide — appear in OnVideo’s sidebar. Recently, we decided to list the top streaming movies from the major US subscription platforms and we eliminated the listings for individual premium VOD services. So while our sidebar now lists the Top 10 Streaming Movies, we felt that the PVOD sales information was still valuable, so, on a weekly basis, we will post both SVOD and PVOD information as a feature here.
