The Talk of the Town

Constant, ridiculous and comic mix-ups and mishaps threaten to destroy the trio’s friendship and potentially lead to Leopold facing a hostile mob for a crime he didn’t commit. George Stevens deftly explores corrupt small-town politics and the individual’s responsibility to society while fueling a fast-paced romantic comedy with lightness and charm.
