Ali: Fear Eats the Soul BLU-RAY DEBUT
(1974) The wildly prolific German filmmaker Rainer Werner Fassbinder paid homage to his cinematic hero Douglas Sirk with this update of that filmmaker's 1955 "All That Heaven Allows." A lonely widow (Brigitte Mira) meets a much younger Arab worker (El Hedi ben Salem) in a bar during a rainstorm. They fall in love, to their own surprise -- and to the outright shock of their families, colleagues, and drinking buddies. In "Ali: Fear Eats the Soul," Fassbinder expertly uses the emotional power of classic Hollywood melodrama to expose the racial tensions underlying contemporary German culture. New 4K digital restoration, with uncompressed monaural soundtrack. Ghost in the Shell 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray
(1995) Mamoru Oshii's cyberpunk thriller gets an all new HD transfer. 2029 – A female government cyber agent and the Internal Bureau of Investigations are hot on the trail of a "The Puppet Master" – a computer virus capable of invading cybernetic brains and altering its victim’s memory. Created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and codenamed "Project 2501", this 'hacker' is actually a prototype virtual agent which has now defied its makers by seeking asylum within a new host body outside of the electronic net. Grave Halloween

Wolf

Deciding to put his talents as a fighter to use, he enters a boxing gym owned by Ben (Raymond Thiry), who quickly spots Majid's raw talent and starts to coach him in the techniques needed to enter the ring while also instilling in him the discipline and respect a true fighter needs. But as Majid's notoriety both in and out of the fighting circuit begins to grow, he finds himself confronted with his criminal past and the world of organized crime that's threatening to take over his community.
