On this, the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Blu-ray Disc in June 2006, trade magazine Home Media Magazine celebrates the format with a bevy of articles on the blue disc’s importance in bringing pristine quality image and sound to consumers, as well as its role as a platform for archiving films and as a stepping stone to the next leap in sound and image quality, 4K Ultra HD.
