Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to Release Pedro Almódovar’s Entire Film Library Exclusively on iTunes on November 29

Culver City, CA (November 29, 2016) – Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced they will release THE COMPLETE PEDRO ALMODÓVAR COLLECTION on iTunes starting today, November 29th. Curated together for the first time, all 19 of Almódovar’s feature films will be made available in the U.S. on iTunes.

Celebrating the legacy of one of the world’s most acclaimed filmmakers THE COMPLETE PEDRO ALMODÓVAR COLLECTION features all-new HD transfers on 15 of the 19 films. In addition, nine of the films in the collection are available in high definition for the first time in the U.S., and the very rare PEPI, LUCI, BOM and LABYRINTH OF PASSION are making their domestic debut.

The films included in the collection are Pepi, Luci, Bom; Labyrinth Of Passion; Dark Habits; What Have I Done To Deserve This?; Matador; Law Of Desire; Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown; Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! (in collaboration with the Criterion Collection); High Heels; Kika; The Flower Of My Secret; Live Flesh; All About My Mother; Talk To Her; Bad Education; Volver; Broken Embraces; The Skin I Live In and I’m So Excited!

Also for the first time, iTunes will offer Extras on a special bundle of the iconic filmmaker’s latest work, THE PEDRO ALMODÓVAR ICONIC COLLECTION, including All About My Mother, Talk to Her, Bad Education, Volver, and Broken Embraces.  For more, visit www.itunes.com/almodovar.

As previously announced, the Museum of Modern Art will be honoring Almodóvar with a career retrospective from November 29th -December 17th, kicking off on November 29th with a special screening of Almodóvar’s latest film, Julieta.  Sony Pictures Classics is releasing Julieta on December 21. iTunes will also celebrate Pedro Almodóvar with a Meet the Filmmaker panel discussion at the Apple SoHo store on December 2nd.  For more, visit www.apple.com/retail/soho.
