'Secrets of Dumbledore' Casts Spell on Digital May 30, Disc June 28

Experience the newest adventure in the Wizarding World™ when “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” arrives for Premium Digital Ownership at home on May 30. The film is directed by David Yates from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling & Steve Kloves, based upon a screenplay by Rowling, and stars Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne (“The Theory of Everything”) and two-time Oscar nominee Jude Law (“Cold Mountain,” “The Talented Mr. Ripley”). The film will also be available to stream on HBO Max on May 30 and will be available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD beginning on June 28.

The film’s ensemble cast also includes Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, William Nadylam, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams, Victoria Yeates, Poppy Corby-Tuech, Fiona Glascott, Katherine Waterston, Maria Fernanda Cândido, Richard Coyle, Oliver Masucci, Valerie Pachner, Aleksandr Kuznetsov, and Mads Mikkelsen.

The film was produced by David Heyman, Rowling, Steve Kloves, Lionel Wigram and Tim Lewis, with Neil Blair, Danny Cohen, Josh Berger, Courtenay Valenti and Michael Shar executive producing.

  • On May 30, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” will be available for early Premium Digital Ownership at home for $24.99 and for 48-hour rental via PVOD for $19.99 SRP on participating digital platforms where you purchase movies.
  • On May 30, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” will be available to stream on HBO Max
  • On June 28, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” will be available on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD. “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” will also continue to be available to own in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” will also be available on Movies Anywhere. Using the free Movies Anywhere app and website, consumers can access all their eligible movies by connecting their Movies Anywhere account with their participating digital retailer accounts.

Additionally, the documentary “Fantastic Beasts: A Natural History,” produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit and Warner Bros, will be available on EST on May 30. For $9.99.  This collaboration with the Natural History Museum in London sees Stephen Fry embark on a fascinating global journey to discover the stories behind some of the world’s most fantastic beasts. Travelling from Utah, to Florida and to Loch Ness, Stephen is on a quest to unravel why the world of mythical beasts are more popular than ever before. Featuring an exclusive interview with J. K. SYNOPSIS

Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers.
