Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Black & Chrome Edition offers an alternative viewing experience by removing all color from the film, creating a stark and visually striking black and chrome aesthetic, similar to that released with Mad Max: Fury Road in December of 2016. This version will include an introduction by director Miller, who will provide insights into the creative process and vision behind this bold stylistic choice.

The physical release of the film will be available on August 13 in four configurations: DVD, Blu-ray + Digital Code, 4K UHD + Digital Code, and Steelbook 4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital Code. Blu-ray extras: “Highway to Valhalla: In Pursuit of Furiosa”; “Stowaway to Nowhere.” 4K UHD adds “Metal Beasts & Holy Motor”; “Darkest Angel: Anya Taylor-Joy as Furiosa”; “Motorbike Messiah: Chris Hemsworth as Dementus.”

The film arrived for Digital sales and VOD June 25 from Warner/Discovery.

The origin story of renegade warrior Furiosa before her encounter and team-up with Mad Max. The fifth installment in the Mad Max franchise, serving as both a prequel and spin-off to Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).

As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home


Anya Taylor-Joy is Furiosa A highly skilled, incredibly observant young woman, Furiosa finds ways to make herself useful as a means of survival in the Wasteland. Disguised as a boy, she helps build the War Rig in the hope of surviving long enough to fulfill a promise made to her mother: to return home to the Green Place.	Chris Hemsworth is Dementus An engaging warlord marauding across the Wasteland, laying siege to everything in his way, Dementus is a complicated and violent product of the harsh reality that is the Wasteland. He regularly uses violence to instill fear and exercise control within the ranks of the people. Both a showman and a sort of sage, Dementus commands a cult-like loyalty, and he rules with an iron fist.	Tom Burke is Praetorian Jack Praetorian Jack is a skilled warrior and the driver of the War Rig, working in the service of Immortan Joe as a bodyguard. He is the one Furiosa’s absolutely forced, by circumstance, to collaborate with in her determination to return home.
