Starring Michelle Ang (Fear The Walking Dead, Triple 9), Ryan O’Nan (Fargo, Ray Donovan), “Fallen Stars” will be bounding onto screens when it’s released on Video on Demand on March 14, 2017.  “Fallen Stars” premiered at the 2015 Austin Film Festival.

Set largely in Los Angeles’ vibrant and off beat neighborhood of Koreatown, the film is a poignant indie drama that chronicles the unexpected friendship that develops between two lost souls: Cooper (Ryan O’ Nan), a burnt-out bartender, who, at thirty-six, still isn’t sure what he wants to do with his life and, Daisy (Michelle Ang), an extremely accomplished, but socially awkward girl in her early twenties.  Despite a difference in age and backgrounds, these two kindred spirits gradually get to know each other and, in the process, form a relationship that while not romantic it is, in many ways, much more intimate. “Fallen Stars” explores emotions that we all struggle with: regret, loneliness, and what it means to really know someone.

Directed by Brian Jett, “Fallen Stars” is billed as a moving story showing how far the power of companionship can go to healing even the deepest wounds. Fans of The Office should also look at for no other than Leslie David Barker who adds his familiar dose of comedy to the proceedings.
