eraserheadThis September, the iconic David Lynch will enter the Criterion Collection with his still stunning debut feature, “Eraserhead,” a beloved American cult classic. Roman Polanski will return to the collection with his visceral “Macbeth,” among the grittiest and most thrilling of all screen Shakespeare adaptations. And hold on to your seats for the “The Innocents,” Jack Clayton’s terrifying version of Henry James’s classic ghost story “The Turn of the Screw.” Also, for the first time on DVD or Blu-ray in the U.S. the provocative Oscar winner “Sundays and Cybèle,” by French director Serge Bourguignon. All this plus a new Blu-ray edition of Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s unforgettable melodrama “Ali: Fears Eats the Soul.”
