VISION QUEST (1985) New to Blu-ray with a 2017 1080p HD Remaster  The beloved Eighties cult classic gets the championship treatment it deserves in all its big hair grit and grainy glory on this rich 1080p HD Blu-ray presentation. Matthew Modine delivers an impressive performance with his wise and witty portrayal of Louden Swain, Spokane’s strangest, and sweetest, big brained wrestler. Having just turned eighteen, and having “not done anything yet,” Louden sets his sights on Shute (Frank Jasper), undefeated beast of the high school wrestling circus, as well as Carla (Linda Fiorentino), the free spirit that has just swept into Louden and his Dad’s (Ronny Cox) lives. The only hitch is that he needs to drop two weight classes in order to challenge Shute and age about a decade to romance Carla… Also features Daphne Zuniga and Madonna’s screen debut. Directed by Harold Becker. 16×9 Widescreen
FIRST TIME IN WIDESCREEN
PROTOCOL (1984) Newly mastered in the original 1.78:1 aspect ratio. The great Goldie Hawn takes on one of her quirkiest characterization in the middle of her red-hot post-Private Benjamin run of films. Ditzy D.C. cocktail waitress Sunny Davis (Hawn) is thrust into the corridors of power after accidentally saving an Arab dignitary from assassination. Can the plain-spoken patriot (who doesn’t even vote) change politics before power changes her? Directed by Herbert Ross and written by Buck Henry. 16×9 Widescreen
