After their old flat becomes damaged, Emad (Shahab Hosseini) and Rana (Taraneh Alidoosti), a young couple living in Tehran who happen to be performers rehearsing for Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman," are forced to move into a new apartment. Eventually, an incident linked to the previous tenant — a prostitute — of their new home dramatically changes the couple’s life, and the husband goes on a crusade to restore his manhood and self-worth.
