A STERLING CAST BRIGHTENS A FUNNY AND POIGNANT STORY ABOUT A GROUP OF SENIORS FIGHTING TO RETAIN THEIR DIGNITY

SILVER SKIES

George Hamilton Heads the Lovable Lineup in Director Rosemary Rodriguez's Irresistible Film, Coming to Digital EST, VOD and From Virgil Films On April 4th

A group of eccentric seniors band together to save their homes in the heartfelt – and hilarious – new film SILVER SKIES. The award-winning comedy-drama starring a wonderful cast of beloved stars arrives on HD digital platforms and DVD from Virgil Films on April 4th, following a multi-city theatrical run this past fall.

SILVER SKIES chronicles a group of working-class residents whose lives are turned upside down when their apartment complex threatens to be sold out from under them. Unless the residents can each come up with half a million dollars to buy into the new condo scheme, they'll be evicted. Rosemary Rodriguez, the award-winning director behind such TV hits as The Good Wife, Jessica Jones, Empire, Rescue Me and Hell on Wheels, has assembled a high-profile cast of seasoned stars to deliver this tender and beautiful story. George Hamilton (Where the Boys Are, Love at First Bite) is joined by Valerie Perrine (Superman, Slaughterhouse-Five), Alex Rocco (The Godfather), Mariette Hartley (Marnie), Barbara Bain (Mission: Impossible), Howard Hesseman (WKRP in Cincinnati) and Jack McGee (Rescue Me).

With humor and compassion, Rodriguez brings these characters to a place of fear that still has room for a little romance and a lot caring for each other's well-being. As they try to simply enjoy their twilight years while facing the unknown, these underdogs will have you rooting for them all the way.

SILVER SKIES also stars Jack Betts (Sam Raimi's Spider-Man), Heather McComb (Ray Donovan) and Micah Hauptman (Homeland). It won the Best Feature award at the Manhattan Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival.
