GOING HOLLYWOOD (1933) Marion Davies enchants and delights in this cockeyed romantic fable that sees a schoolteacher successfully stalk a radio crooner from the Big Apple to Tinseltown. French teacher Sylvia Bruce is bored by the confines of the girl's school she teaches at (she dares to believe in love, you know) when she has a late night revelation thanks to pop-heartthrob Bill Williams' (Bing Crosby) radio show. Leaving school, she tracks down Bill to declare her love but it turns out he's departing for Hollywood. Naturally, Sylvia pursues. Like a fever dream in reverse, Going Hollywood moves from blockbuster musical fantastiques to sly Hollywood satire. Buoyed by Davies' ebullient charms and Crosby's intoxicating crooning, Going Hollywood casts a spell as potent as the absinthe Crosby consumes in the picture. Directed by Raoul Walsh and also stars Ned Sparks and Patsy Kelly.

CHEYENNE: THE COMPLETE SIXTH SEASON (1961-62) The trailblazing TV Western continues to deliver its perfect mix of high drama and cowboy thrills for a sixth, penultimate season. In this 4-Disc, 13-Episode complete collection, the peripatetic pistolero Cheyenne Bodie (Clint Walker) continues to drift into jams that demand his brand of justice. From the cow towns of Texas to the rugged northwest, Cheyenne brings law to the lawless whether they be found behind a cattle quarantine (³Winchester Quarantine² with Union Pacificıs Susan Cummings), inside a railroad car (³One Way Ticket² with Philip Carey as Cole Younger), or behind a badge (³Trouble Street² with James Coburn). Other notables this season include Lee Van Cleef (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly), Ellen Burstyn (Big Love), John Anderson (Heaven with a Gun), and James Hong (Blade Runner). But enough chatter time to saddle up and ride with The Big Man!

HUNTED: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (2012) From creator Frank Spotnitz (Strike Back, The X-Files), Hunted is an edge-of-your-seat thriller that stars Melissa George as Sam Hunter, a highly skilled operative for an elite private security firm called Byzantium. After Sam narrowly survives an attempt on her life that may have been orchestrated by members of her own team she returns to work a year later (having told nobody of her whereabouts) and must perform her secretive duties without knowing who to trust and who might want her dead.
